The tripod weighs only 1.7kg and offers a maximum load capacity of 7kg. The 2-way panhead features fluid-effect movement and a pan bar with four possible positions, so you can follow the action while your movements stay smooth and steady.
With the three aluminum leg sections and the geared center column extended fully, the 638F reaches a maximum height of 170cm. The assembly folds down to just 60cm for easy transport. The leg stages feature flip locks for easy locking and unlocking.
The 2-way panhead of the 638F allows independent adjustment to tilt and pan positions. It comes with a QB-6RL camera plate, which is longer than typical quick-release plates designed for still cameras. The plate features a video pin and a standard 1/4″-20 screw.
